I have been seriously considering getting a ROG ally or a Steam Deck but the ROG ally has issues with the SD card and the Steam Deck works on Steam OS and I would much prefer a windows platform (while Steam OS is better for battery life - Windows has more options in terms of ways to install games). However it seems that a new ROG ally could be revealed soon and I for one hope that they fix the issue with the SD card. Find out more here.

Akuma is coming to Street Fighter 6 as a DLC character and he looks awesome. I do have a love hate relationship with Akuma with his unblockable ultra attack “raging demon” but I have always loved the design of the character and think he will be a great edition to SF6. Check out his gameplay trailer here.

There are quite a few Rumors going around on the details on the next Nintendo Console. Magnectic Joy cons, updated cartridges, larger 1080p screen. If the rumors are to be believed I think the thing I am most excited for is the 1080p screen and while the 720p screen in the Switch was ok, a 1080p would look so much nicer. Lets hope it is an OLED but I think that is unlikely. More details here.

I just picked up FC24 on steam deal for £11.99 but PS plus subscribers will be able add it to their collection in May alongside Ghostrunner 2, Tunic and Destiny Lightfall. More details here.

Sony has made it mandatory to link a PSN account to play Helldivers 2 which has led to steam review bombing by players. The funny thing about this story is that if they made it mandatory to start with, no one would have questioned but to make it mandatory after it was not in the first place has really set off the fans. More details here.

Take two is seemingly closing down the studio that created OlliOlliWorld and Rollderdrome plus the Studio that created Kerbel Space Program 2. I know that take two own quite a few studio and this is obviously a money saving act from them but I am quite disappointed as OlliOlliWorld was an awesome game and I loved first Kerbel Space Program. More detais here.

Firesprite Studios (Developer of Horizon Call Of The Mountain) are laying off more staff unfortunately. I do have to wonder what going the studio leaders minds when they had invested in a new studio space a year ago and now they are having to let people go. I do hope that every is able to land on their feet and lets also hope that we have seen the last of the lay offs this year. More details here.

Rise of Ronin sales are doing pretty well and selling faster than Nioh and Nioh 2 according to Koei Tecmo. This is really cool to see and while Rise of Ronin was not perfect, I hope they can build on what they made to make even better games in the future. More details here.
Ever wanted a Nintendo Switch dock in the shape of a plant, well look no further as this person has created that exact dock. Check it out here.
Googles X account was corrected serveral times by Sonic fans, its quite funny how badly google got things wrong about Sonic. Full story here.
Manor Lords sells 1m copies in 24 hours which is amazing. If you want to know what is coming next from the developer then check it out here.
If you own a steam deck or are thinking about owning a steam deck then this new video by digital foundry shows how well the steam deck can handle Ray Tracing and the results show that it is pretty good with games that have light ray tracing graphics options even when comparing to the XBOX series S console in some games. It is to be expected that it would not be able to handle heavy ray tracing titles. Watch the full video here.
